Forgotten

You have forgotten your ancient lives.

You have lost sight of the path that was set out for you.

The path you are on right now. Right here.

All you can see is the thicket, and yet… there is so much more.

You have forgotten where your soul lies.

You have forgotten that you have a home.

All this work of remembering. It is tiresome. It is pulling energy from your most essential work of being.

Could you just trust in your bones before you have verified/checked that trust is rationally available?

Could you jump without knowing where to land?

Lift your foot and know that somehow a stone would appear where you wish to set it down?

Trust that if you do not have knowing, there is no need for you to find knowing?

Believe that you are forever loved by so many. Present and past, living and dying, by the future ones who will never know you? And the ones that lit a candle for your future?

Can you?

Or is it beyond you to believe that you can hold so much love. That you can be a target for this love. Pursued by their love and presence? In a chase for presence and being? For existence?

Can you believe that being alive is enough?

There was a time when you walked with purpose and with essence in your heart. You have lost the knowledge of your older lives, have lost the way to access its wisdom and certainly have lost the will to even try.
