Whatever hurt is still resonant in your bones and in your heart, <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever the world has done to you, <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And whatever the thing is that oyu are holding so dear<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While hurt pushes you to let it all go,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You cannot let go. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will not put it down. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nor will you open your hands\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 To receive.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Replace hurt with love<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And hold your heart in your highest possible place. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have come home.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way she speaks bring nostalgia in the folds of her voice and wave after wave you are pushed backwards until you find you cannot go back anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tree trunk that was not there before thumps into your back. Firm enough to snap you to attention. But soft enough to not hurt you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The confusion in your features draw a smile onto her face. It is full of understanding and like a mother holding the ravages of doubt of a child, her smile reassures you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Whatever is meant as an explanation lands with even more confusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With your back still against the huge tree, you lean back and allow your weight to be supported by the presence of whatever dryad is here to witness your very human doubts and misgivings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time the sound registers in the outside world and you could swear to all that is holy that this brotherly tree accepts your presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
